As a nursing mum I don’t feel like there are many nice but functional dress options on the market. I can't feed the baby in this one without stripping totally nude, I can't wear that because of the huge nursing bra straps…we’ve all been there. 5 months postpartum, 2 days before going on holiday I still only had some oversized T-shirts and cycling shorts in my luggage. I couldn’t find any suitable but pretty dresses to take with me, and trust me I looked everywhere,  then suddenly I had a Eureka moment! 

What if I could wear any of my dresses with a bra pad inserted inside of them? That way the nursing pad wouldn’t fall out and I could feel secure and leak free at all times. I didn't want to sew them in, firstly because I can’t sew, secondly because who has the time when juggling nappy changes, feeding, lack of sleep etc etc, and thirdly I’d ruin the dresses when I came to take the pads out. I came up with a solution for all these problems, and so was born QTcups, the World's first iron in breast pad.

While not every nursing mum experiences leaking of breast milk (I certainly did as I know many others do) requiring the use of a nursing bra pad in conjunction with a nursing bra. Like many others I tried the silicone nipple covers that are supposed to stop leakage, after 30 seconds the thing had slipped straight off and my dress was saturated.

There are many dresses and tops that can’t be worn with nursing bras due to the straps, things are hard enough for us mums with babies without having practically zero clothing options if we need to dress up for a wedding or special occasion. The purpose of QTCups is to provide an iron on breast cup which is a permanent solution to keep nursing pads in place without having to wear a nursing bra.

These breast cups are made from carefully selected, breathable, soft materials and have fusible interfacing fabric sewn onto them so they can be quickly and easily ironed into any type of garments ( e.g. strapless dresses, backless dresses, tank tops). They are the exact shape and size of disposable nursing pads, therefore achieve a perfect fit.
